ABOUT MANTHAN EYE HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION
MEHF is a registered not for profit and non-government charitable organization with a mission to provide standard eye health care services to those segments of the society who have only limited access to eye health care due to low income, disability and other limitations; by organizing various screening and medical eye camps across Haryana and neighbouring states.
With the vision to emerge as an organization par excellence in the field of community eye health care, the MEHF family today has over 1,000 members who are working constantly for the promotion of health care activities, to raise awareness about the importance of healthy vision among the masses. Till now around ten thousand people have been screened for eye diseases like Diabetic Retinopathy and Glaucoma. To fulfil its commitment towards preventive vision health, various eye health care providers and not for profit organizations have been actively engaged and recruited for the cause.
MEHF has recently collaborated with Ansal University establishing Sushant – MEHF centre of excellence for Glaucoma Screening for the subsidized screening of at-risk/ suspected glaucoma patients detected during camp screenings to halt the progress of this silent killer of vision.
We have a dedicated wing for community ophthalmology in association with MEHF under the able supervision of Dr Sumit Grover.
